Lapping caveman-style drums rumble endlessly into oblivion, as half-hidden artifacts of horn, bass, and guitar stay lost in the decaying fringes.
It's an arduous amount of searching to find an album like 'Rebirth.' So much of post-rock / experimental indie music I find tries too hard to achieve some grand sweeping climax and I love that this doesn't. Same guy behind Junkyard Shaman. RIYL: B/B/S, Fading Tapes, less grandiose GSYBE.
